Espresso lovers of Maryland rejoice! You now have a place that KNOWS how to pull an espresso shot! I spoke with one of the managers, Emma, who was very knowledgeable about espresso and the nuance to getting a good shot. They pull approximately 25 second shots which is just about right. Everywhere else in the area is pulling 5-15 second shots which makes the espresso very sour tasting. Fine if you are putting the shot into a ton of sugar slop but not so great if you want to actually taste the espresso. Emma was very polite, professional, and knowledgeable. Food was good too (got the breakfast burrito). Absolutely fantastic experience!

Plenty of parking in the back and yummy food. Just go up to order and find a seat! The coffee came out quick and was delicious, food came out shortly after and was very fresh and tasty. Lots of people relaxing and using their computers, it has a very chill vibe.

Stopped for breakfast before flying back home and was so pleased with our breakfast. We had the baleada burritos which were the perfect size. I also had the horchata latte which was good but could use a touch more cinnamon (i love me some cinnamon). My daughter ordered the milo banana and it was delicious not too sweet and they use fresh banana. She also ordered the acai bowl and it was absolutely beautiful and tasted better than it looked! My mom ordered the pupusas requests, the curtido on top just pushed them to the next level. We love the vibe and as Honduras felt good to find a central american spot.

Absolutely fantastic! This local coffee shop has quickly become one of my go-to spots, and it’s so much more than just great coffee. They serve authentic, homemade Salvadoran and Costa Rican dishes that are simply outstanding. The flavors are rich, fresh, and made with obvious care. Their pupusas are top-notch—perfectly crispy on the outside and filled with just the right amount of cheese and other ingredients. The tamales are deliciously tender, and the chifrijo (a Costa Rican favorite) is a must-try, with layers of flavor that are both savory and satisfying. I can’t get enough of the fried plantains; they’re just the right balance of sweet and caramelized, while the beef soup warms you up with its comforting and seasoned broth. The atmosphere is welcoming and cozy, and the staff truly make you feel at home. They clearly have a passion for both their coffee and the traditional dishes they serve. It’s a rare find to have such authentic Latin American cuisine alongside expertly brewed coffee. Highly recommend giving this place a visit—whether you’re craving a caffeine fix or a taste of Salvadorian and Costa Rican comfort food, this shop delivers every time!

I’ve been coming here since they opened and I always recommend it for folks looking for a real cafe vibe. The staff are friendly, the cozy atmosphere is great, and I love their menu. Most late afternoons you can order bar food from the Luchador menu which is also delicious! My favorites are the Horcha-latte, their seasonal apple caramelo shaken espresso, the pupusas from La Casita, and the asada fries from Luchador. These in the sunny nooks by the windows is just heaven! One thing I will say, this is not necessarily the place to go on the weekend if you’re in a rush, but honestly when you come in, you won’t be in a hurry to leave.

Not to be dramatic or anything but you know when you walk into a place and just feel a deep sense of belonging? From the moment we walked in, this coffee shop felt like home. The vibe was calm, warm, and inviting exactly what you hope for when trying a new local spot. The staff was amazing, especially because they took the time to guide us through the menu and made thoughtful recommendations based on what I told them I liked. I ended up getting Leche con Cafe, and let me just say it exceeded all my expectations. I’m a tough critic when it comes to coffee, and this one easily ranks among the top I’ve had in the area. It was rich, smooth, and just the right balance of bold and sweet. We also had breakfast, and it was everything. I had the Guanaco breakfast burrito, and my daughter got the kids’ twin pupusas. Both were absolutely incredible like having a home-cooked meal full of flavor and heart. The only thing I’ll say is that the pupusas didn’t come with salsa or curtido, and my daughter obviously being Salvi raised was not happy about that at first. But the taste won her over pretty quickly. She was especially thrilled that her American side and her Salvi side got to come together on the same plate because yes, she got French fries with her pupusas. It was a whole moment. There’s something so special about finding a local Latino-owned spot that not only serves amazing food and coffee but also brings that sense of community and personality. We’ll definitely be coming back and making this one of our staple places. 100% worth a try.

Centrado Cafe Shop was such a vibe! It was the perfect little spot for a quick girls’ breakfast meetup. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, great for catching up and just enjoying the moment. The staff were super friendly, and I especially loved the conversational Spanish, it gave me the perfect chance to practice my Duolingo skills . I’m not a coffee drinker, so I went for the aloe and berry tea (so refreshing!) along with the sweet potato pancakes and a side of eggs. Everything was good. I loved sitting tucked away in a quiet corner, it felt like a little escape. This is our new meetup spot and I can’t wait to come back!
